Mr. Huynh Van Phuc (An Thoi Hamlet, Hoi An, Cho Moi District ) said that his family used more than 5 hectares of land to grow lotus and taro.In particular, in addition to the area of nearly 4 hectares of family land, he also hired 1.4 hectares of land to grow lotus and taro.Each year, he planted 2 crops, the lotus harvest was completed and started renovating the land to plant taro for Tet.

Developing lotus and taro rotation models for 3 years, Mr. Phuc realized: Lotus is an easy -to -grow, less infected tree, mild care.During the lotus development, every 10 days of spreading 10kg of manure/land.Only when pests: leaves, thrips ... attack, spray.

Thanks to the rotation model, many local workers have more jobs.Mr. Dam Van Ty (39 years old, living in An Binh hamlet, Hoi An, Cho Moi district) from the early morning was present with everyone to pick the lotus mirror.

From crop rotation shows the practical benefits of this model, helping farmers no longer depend on a tree on the same land area for many years, helping people to escape poverty and more active incultivation, job creation, income for many free laborers in the locality.
